And STM’s all world player from last year went to Samford.
Seventeen appearances, one assist. No conference championship, no NCAA.
You never miss an opportunity to take a shot at local athletes...especially girl soccer players. Impressive

Now tell us about all the championships stm had before the split?
FYI Westgate from STMs district is forced to play with the 5A schools in the playoffs. STM should too.
sTm has beaten Brother Martin handedly these past couple of years. They are most definitely not fools gold. That is a pretty bad take.
I agree about the split. But the teams the Cougars have rolled out these past five years or so would destroy Cougar teams of the past. Just my opinion.

All I did was post facts contradictory to your statements, especially past statements regarding UL passing on all this local/instate talent in WSOC. Not a shot, just facts that disagree with your opinion.
Nothing is more wrong with youth sports is adults “writing checks” (how great a youth player is) that they don’t have to cash.
If you got a h/s kid playing, enjoy the moment, it’s gone in a flash.
And the sun doesn’t rise and set on Farrel Road.

It’s one thing to beat Bro Martin, Chbr, Rummell one weekend in September.. but it’s another to have to play Edna Karr Acadiana Chbr holy cross, and all those others back to back to back in the playoffs. Which is where stm should be.

So like the CFP, wins in September aren’t the same as wins in November…got it.
Also, the bracket wouldn’t fall that way. They wouldn’t play those teams listed out the gate like that.

They are where the schools enrollment brackets them.

. . . always remember that agenda drives what bait one throws out there . . . in reality, everything is about $$$, but agenda always trumps $$$ because it is one of the places on earth where all you need to play is a keyboard and internet . . . and arm chair self proclaimed experts can play at the highest level . . .

Clearly the best teams in September might not be in December. Some youthful get better, some more mature might get worse by attrition. They place the overall record ahead of most things, but not everything.

You are correct and they control their enrollment by not accepting perfectly qualified students to make sure they stay in that bracket. They are less than 100 students from being in the D1 select bracket. Mean while fellow district foe WestGate who can not control their enrollment have to play in D 1 the highest level of non select.
