Depending on where you sit you are looking at anywhere between a 25% to 100% increase on top of the second highest priced tickets already. $70,000 more in the budget would be useful but comparing it to the big budget programs it doesn't really move the needle much. Raise it $50 per seat and that only increases it to $35,000. Are you saying that much more money would get us to the WCWS so that we can continue to compete against bigger budget programs? We will never be able to increase our budget to keep up with the SEC. You also know that.
No one is comparing UL to the SEC, I'm simply saying more money will be needed for UL Softball to remain relevant nationally, not just in the Sun Belt.
As for the platitude "No one does more with less", that is what the university and many of it's supporters were saying 20 years ago. That's just affirmation that they weren't committed to athletics.

I think people understand perfectly that we need more money, jsut tired of it always coming form the same people. We are going backwards in fan support and the only answer with this administration is raise the prices on the people who are still around. that is not a sustainable business model. WE need MORE people paying and stop expecting the smaller and smaller crowd to pay more or it will just keep getting smaller. It doesnt matter what other people get at other schools or how "good we have it". Its not wokring, we are going backwards
Re: Let’s Talk Some Baseball
Shouldn't softball's percent of total budget be factored in?
What is the pct of total budget those that spend 3 million compared to the 2 millions and to the others?

They want 1 $100k donor more than 200 $500 (total $100k) donors. Those 200 are likely locked in at $500 and will continue to increase that donation while that 1 donor is one bad investment from disappearing. That 1 donor also likely doesn't exist because in the time it took them to get there, they've been convinced that TSAB is where they should spend their money. On the other hand, odds are at least 1 of those 200 climbs the ladder and becomes that $100k donor. The approach makes zero sense and it's no surprise that out fanbase is dwindling and they can't raise money for ____.

When does the renewal period end for baseball season tickets and it opens for new people to purchase tickets? I just recently graduated (2022) and I want to buy season tickets for the upcoming season.
