Honest question, because obviously I didn't watch that embarrassment: How many of those shots were contested or with hand in face? Texas shot over 50% from the field and 54% from 3. How many of those shots were wide ass open?
Dude, their speed and ball movement was impressive. We looked like a high school team compared to them

Sounds like a 1 seed v 16 seed type of game.

This right here. I’ve been screaming it for years. If every team with a pulse we play shoots the lights out, what does that tell you? We’re the most unlucky program in CBB history? Hell no. It should tell you that our defense is trash. Or at the least our defensive scheme is trash. If you believe that we just keep having bad luck with teams shooting well against us then I have ocean front property in Arizona to sell you.

Oh no. He said in the postgame that they played better against us than against Gonzaga. No lie.

Gonzaga was a warm up for them. Everything up until this point has basically been exhibition. You don’t win 27 games 5 years ago and walk around without a target on your back. At this point, it would be merciful to our players if Bob retired. Every team we play throws their best shot + the kitchen sink at us because of the Bob fear factor.

The direct correlation is that they played better against us because compared to Gonzaga, we were a walk in the park. I always play better against a midget compared to when I play my 6’6 brother.

Get your brother to UL. They could use him.

Mothership analytics gives us a 40.8% chance at CCU, 41.5% at ODU. No point spread out yet.

Well as previously mentioned, teams celebrate in the locker room like they have won the Super Bowl after they beat us because that’s what it’s like to beat the Ragin’ Cajuns.
Last night struck a chord by the way we played. I get that Texas is a good team, but it’s always the same song and dance with us: beat bad teams, boost the record, then lose to good teams before explaining how those good teams “came to play because it was us they were playing.” It happens every year. When are we going to stop embracing mediocrity and complacency?
