Re: Softball players leaving for next year.
A friend of mine hadn't missed a game in many years. When what happened three years ago, happened, he hasn't been to a game since. I invited him, telling him how good a team the Cajuns have. He said he wasn't going to go because hardly any of the players were from Louisiana.
So, when Glasco wins a couple of national championships, is anybody going to really care where the players came from?

Nope....Going local is one reason we probably never won a NC.

The crowds looked great. I’m sure that he’s not supporting Summer? I mean she’s local and the single most important position. We had the Gremillion sisters. East Texas players. We have enough local flavor. I’m never going to let the zip code determine my participation.

He started in the Fall of 2017. The 2019 and 2020 teams he put on the field would reflect his players he recruited. Other than Roman, I don't see a HS recruit he has signed, that is an impact D1 player. Will he get more, I fully expect he will.
Coach Glasco has a great program that I am very proud of. I also realize that it is firmly based upon transfers, at least so far. If that is his strength, and he can continue to do it, than more power to him, and we should embrace transfer U, not make it sound negative.

After fall ball 2 of the 6 left, one quit and one transferred out. 4 of the 6 was on roster this year. 1 has entered the portal. 3 remain out of the 6 which isn't Glasco fault. Roman will be great but the staff is also high on Sid the Kid Hebert and Kylie O'Neill.
I'm seeing lots of elite HS prospects prior to the Wuhan.

What most folks don't realise it that Glasco has connections with a ton of travel ball coaches, some of which he has coached. You cant sign everyone so some kids don't work out places and they get recommend to Glasco and he will coach them up.

I see your point, I just disagree with it. I am also proud of GG for honoring the NLI, it was the right thing to do. I would label it two full classes for any coach.
Hebert and O'Neill may turn out to be very good, but to an earlier posters point, if you keep bringing in transfers, do you potentially stunt their growth and/or they end up transferring?
In Glasco We Trust.

Why do you assume we don't realize this? We do, hence why we are and will be transfer U and win A LOT of games and compete every year for NC's !!

Anyone want to guess where Jade will play or will she even start?
