M point is this is a fan board people come on here and say whatever is on their mind whether factual or not. Some fans want Bob Marlin's head on a silver patter even though he had the best season win wise in Cajun history. That is what fans do. I have my opinion about Glasco but I upgraded my seats this year and catch as many games as possible doesn't mean I wont come on this board and talk Sugar Honey Ice Tea.

Bob’s not won a single game against better teams this year. He’s pretty much not for almost a decade. Coach Glasco has already surplanted him in wins vs the elite in their respective sports. So you probably shouldn’t compare them to each other.

I think college coaches should never get comfortable in their job and it's our job as fans/boosters/season ticket holders to make sure coaches are always pushing to get better. however, I do give them 3 year grace period for them to show us what they got

I think what Soldier was saying is one poster can compare and another can can say the comparison isn't valid.

However for the second poster to post one should be quite with their comparison goes against the nature of a forum's purpose.

ps I do not speak for CajunSoldier, just my interpretation jmi

I just don't get why people are so touchy about anything said about Glasco. Sure he is doing a great job but come on, he is a coach and we are fans.

I totally agree he's no different than any other UL coach. If guys or gals were truly P.O. we wouldn't go to the ball park and support our team. You are right we are fans.

It goes back to our home training ... we are to be seen and not heard. And definitely no touching.

As have many others here, I served during VietNam Era so you and Coach G defenders could have equal rights. Come on, man. If you are going to post, you have to know you are subject to be confronted.
