For those needing clarity on where this latest mutt idiot stands, here is a recent post on the mutt board that lays out how he feels about us:



"On another thread, some UL@L troll was harping on how there is nothing preventing them using just "Louisiana." I decided to have some fun and suggested we:
* retain the State-T logo in all regards
* put Louisiana on the front and Tech on the back of football and basketball jerseys
* put Louisiana on the front and Tech on the back of the baseball and softball teams' caps.
* have "Louisiana" in one end zone and "Tech" in the other.
* start marketing "Louisiana Bulldogs" merchandise.

I rationalized that the above would resolve our "El Lay Tech," "Lah Tech" issues.

Boy, did that guy come back in a HURRY stating we have built an excellent brand it would be foolish of us to change our brand. I enjoyed the heck out of the guy having to acknowledge in writing that we have a great brand that is recognized both locally and nationally. Especially since the guy is one of those saying we are in violation of the law since we don't put @ Ruston on anything. I would have loved to have seen his reaction when he realized how easily Tech could derail UL@L's attempt to claim "Louisiana" as its name."

Actually, "people" saying the we've changed the offense are people that go to practice and speak to the coaches, sparky. It's a different offense.

And one thing that they'll have trouble preparing for is AJ in this offense. No film. Kind of hard to pick up on his tendencies when he hasn't run this type of offense in college. But yet, it's an offense more suited for his style that he ran in HS.

We need to quit worrying about LaTurd, McNeese, Tulane or LSU. Our biggest problem is and always will be our own administration. We send absolutely zero clear, concise guidance on what we desire to be called. We can't quit chasing our tail and look like idiots. No other university is causing this. There is no conspiracy against us. It's 100% due to the ineptitude of our administrations ability to understand marketing and advancement of athletics.

Yes, I'm a moron. I saw Scott Prather tweet about it yesterday but got Riles and Haynes mixed up as Haynes is suspended and Riles was hurt. So in other words, I thought he was suspended.

So Riles IS playing? That is huge.
