To be clear, the Big Fish isn’t getting fired except for cause. Losing isn’t cause, but as Edwin Edwards used to say about dead women and live boys bring y’all pictures.

Depends on how you define losing. Throw out this year and looking ahead, I think if two consecutive D1 losing seasons occurred you would definitely see a change. It may be considered if only one occurred.

That is not people in the administration. Note, I am talking about only this year. What happens in coming years is something I cannot predict.

We’re talking this year and we’re not gonna have a losing season pre or conference season. Big Fish will have winning numbers in both. But as I’ve always contended being.587 isn’t good enough here.

You may have more confidence than I about what is going to happen in the remaining conference games. If we keep letting people score in the 80's and 90's lots of disappointment could result. I don't expect that to happen regularly but it is a concern, especially with our lack of depth.

I have to agree Marlin is here for another year period.. We have the frivolous law suit coming up by kermit and and other BS that might come our way. Next year I think Hud is paid in full and we ll have more money to use to move forward. But i'm certain Marlin is here next year unless some fanatic fan with big $$$ steps up to write the check.

Hud has already been paid in full. A deal was struck when he left where he took a lump sum which was less than the amount had he been paid annually for the remaining years on his deal.
