I agree, but we still should never schedule people we know will be group 3 or 4; precisely because we know some of the expected 1 and 2 teams will underperform.

And, that is why mid-majors need not apply.

Actually, I don't think it's a big deal that it's getting publicized. It's national recognition.

Someone once asked me to suggest to basketball folks they stop recognizing the mid major poll. If I do question something it will be something like why not have Marcus Stroman shoot when he is wide open 4 feet from the basket and all of his passing targets are covered. As Willis said, they will take any type recognition they can get.

Oklahoma lost again last night. They should be a lock now for an at-large.

Why isn’t CUSA considered a mid major basketball conference?
