Status Quo or Changes

I literally talked to an old friend yesterday who is an avid supporter of the program...and concerned about the future...he can barely operate a computer..much less get to Ragin Pagin...and even he knew about Wells...I think the passionate fans who are concerned know what’s going on...and the casual fans who will show up regardless, don’t know and don’t care...all will be Well(s)

I'm mad because of the message it sends. The athletic department feels that they don't need to update the fan base when they demoted (not fired) the current hitting coach to the front office (the one who led an offense that ranked in the bottom 10% of D1 programs) and hired someone to replace him.

Do you think every single season ticket holder and/or suite holder comes here? What about those people that don't come here? Do they need to be updated about this? And who should update them?

Nobody needs to know, but is knowing things a good thing to encourage customer satisfaction. Many here imply take or leave it, don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out. I didn't realize we've too many fans, who knew we wanted some to leave pizzed off.

I don’t see where it sends a bad message. If the message was so bad, you’d have a majority of supporters p|ssed off. That is no where near the case. Again, most big supporters know what’s going on.

Have you considered that Robe knew the official announcement would be delayed so he allowed the info to leak a few weeks ago?

Well you didn’t specify which Tuesday, so this still could be correct. But yet another delay in the announcement.

Just for the record: I am not pizzzed off about this. I don't think anyone should be fired over this. It is not a life-ending thing for me. I don't think this is a major issue.
But I do find it odd that a coach could be hired and working with the team/coaches for several weeks now and nothing said about it from the Admin. That is just kind of weird. Sorry.
And yes, we got wrapped up in it because we all want it to happen, folks were saying here that it would happen and that it would be something really big, and that numerous times it wouild be announced soon, etc. Not saying these people did anything wrong either, but it is also very understandable why people are at the very least questioning things.

All I want to know is when will we be on base .400+ and SLUG .490+, for the season, like 2014?
