Didn't believe it when someone told me this, but verified with UL System Board meeting. Bama paid us $300K to take over Scott's contract. Scott was to make $375K as the DC here and looks like that is what Bama is going to pay him as they assumed our contract with him.

So like it was a buyout?

But all kidding aside,that topic has intrigued me for a while. Why are contacts needed,are hs coaches hiding players or banning some schools from talking to their students? How does that help the students? And if the hs coaches are alums or boosters how is it not a violation?
