What about LA

LA is already used on sports tickers.
I do precer when the letters don't overpower the silhouette of Louisiana.
Another "Clean L" effort.
This time the "L" with the word "Louisiana" included
Two out of Three.

How about a bit of a throwback to the old USL Ragin' Cajuns logo with a new take on an L that morphs into Louisiana. Coincidentally, south Louisiana.
Besides infringing on Arkansas your take is, interesting
At least these included the Chandeleur islands. The gem of the state.
There's always the Idaho look.
I used inspiration from your L with the flames and kinda added that bottom of the L like it has on the Louisiana. I gotta say it came out allright.

The L should be the same font from the football end zones.
yeah but trust me the font as just the letter does not look all that great. Put that on a helmet or whatever but that L is not good and doesnt stand alone. It is like the one that cajunbydesign posted
Maybe just a little editing it could look better.which is basically the same at the bottom of mine I try to keep it relatively close to the same font or look .
I don’t have the computer program to do it, but I am thinking if you edit that L , maybe not exactly like mine make the Ragin Cajuns bigger and center it more, it might look pretty decent. I just can’t do it with what computer programs I have without it looking terrible.
If you make an L to match one half of the Ragin' Cajuns font. you should come up the font for the entire LOUISIANA.
Also since the font depicts movement, all fonts should depict movement from right to left. Not left to right.
Before I go to bed, a little shadow boxing.
Put louisiana a little smaller and st very top so it doesn't go out of the lines
All University of "State" (that I can think of) use a block letter:
N - Nebraska
M - Michigan
A - Alabama
A - Arizona
A - Arkansas
F - Florida
T - Texas
T - Tennessee
I - Illinois
L - Louisiana
To name a few. These are all successful P5 universities. We should learn something from them.
