Yea....one of their posters straight up came clean this morning. Didn’t know anything, just fishin for info HAHAHA. But not Bert.....what gets me though, if his source is on Napier/UL side of things, wouldn’t they have told that person to shut the hell up?

Yeah the whole thing is very fishy, lol. I just know that I really enjoyed following their meltdowns this weekend. And pretty proud for us that they want our coach so much.

Except Napier's bonus for winning a bowl game is no where near $250,000. Hell, he doesn't even get a bonus for winning a bowl game. He gets a bonus just for appearing in a conference affiliated bowl game.
If Napier is getting a $250,000 bonus for winning a bowl game, it means we just won a CFP championship.
Bert's posts have more holes than a target at a shooting range.

Most Bulldog fans are not happy with this Judge possibility. Surprised most believe Coach Napier is still their next leader. They discount his comments from yesterday. Don't know what to make of that. One thing they don't address is the money they will have to pay us if he does move on.

Not that Starkville is a great place, but neither Oxford nor Starkville are in the delta, and Oxford is a really nice college town
Re: Brett McMurphy reporting that Napier turned down Moo State
So i recognize that some of what is said about Miss State being a poor destination job is correct, and likely a factor in Napier not going there. But I like to think a big or bigger or maybe the biggest factor is that he thinks we are loaded for next year and have a very legit shot at running the table and playing in a NY6. I know there are a lot of people here that think that, but we are supposed to think overly big. We are fans. But when a coach turns down life changing money to come back and coach a team, that is a very very good sign that the only true insider experts think the same thing.

Gomez just tweeted Coach turned down an interview last night.
Re: Brett McMurphy reporting that Napier turned down Moo State
I have a question to ask to anyone that may know.
When something like this happens (Coach leaving), at what point does the athletic director get told? I'm asking hypothetically simply for curiosity sake. What is the outgoing coach supposed to tell the athletic director? That he is interviewing? That he is offered? That he has signed?

I know you are busting MAT's balls, but really that situation wasn't nearly like this one...you should go read that guy Gomez's tweets and the threads on State's board....high comedy.

Let’s not get confused, the story about Brent Pry coming here was, “ ROCK SOLID”, nothing like the silly speculation going on in Mississippi.

No....the two posts are very similar. This Bert guy is just as strong in his claims, and uses very much the same language. According to him this is a done deal and 100% gonna happen.

Yup, going to run the table next year. And I’m probably one of the most conservative people on RP when it comes to predicting future outcomes.
Re: Brett McMurphy reporting that Napier turned down Moo State
MAT should go in the RP hall of fame if it's really him doing that.

This is total speculation and just a random thought: what if a coach's agent had a hand in stirring things up on the internet? Have an intern or someone plant a bunch of seeds. To keep his client's name in the mix as a hot commodity.
Even if the coach has no interest in a particular job, it would seem like the more a coach's name gets mentioned, it creates a hype associated with that particular coach.

Team has potential to do that but I would never predict it. Every team has a couple of games when they are not at their best. We also go to App again and they are still loaded. Not saying it cannot happen because it is possible. Just pointing out it is very difficult and would never predict it.

I thought of that, but this Bert guy joined elite dawgs in 2013, and posted very little since then. Then all of a sudden....just seems like a stretch that that would be a coach’s agent/intern.
I'm thinking it's MAT too. The style of the posts are similar to his here, only using UL or Louisiana, etc. FWIW, they seem to be on to whoever it is, and are saluting him for the epic troll it was.
