Maybe with Davis at quarterback, this team can rise to my greatly lowered expectations. As it stands now, those lower expectations continue to be out of reach.
Accepting the fact that you're not going bowling and are flat out a poor football team is not fun. I did like what I saw out of Jordan Davis and GH, all be it garbage time.
Memo to Coach Hud:
Don't downplay what Davis did today. Build him up. He is your starter for next season. He'll learn on the job, but that's O.K. The fans will give him and you a long leash next season if you commit to him as the starter.

I didn't watch 4th qtr... Glad Davis saved us from shut out. I'm not partial to any guy, but if he showed he can be a real dual threat, throw him in against Troy. i hope he does well and can step up next year to be the sole starter...then we can focus on getting some linemen that has more to offer than sheer size. These guys are slow and clumsy. Looking forward to last game next week. Hopefully bunch of bandwagon people fall off and I can upgrade my seats.
I think Haack holds on to the ball too long but its hard to evaluate him when no one blocks and the receivers cant seem to get open.
