Those USM kids sat in front of us in 122. Parents stuffed them with cotton candy at the game. They were wired up.

They should care. They’re responsible for everything. Awards aren’t necessarily important. They decided to blunt JMU from a bowl for no apparent reason other than a parent’s‘because I said so’!

Most intangible benefits are based upon attendance . . .

Name one?
Re: Final: Louisiana 75, USM 61
Vic be bringing it, ticket sales are more important for every one of those things except recruiting visits.

When they came to Cajun field we had less than 8k. The rest of that is all BS. For instance a recruit don’t look at the reported attendance in the paper. They are standing on the side line and see and feel the atmosphere. Now that atmosphere does make a difference to the recruit not the number Maggard reports in the paper. Ole Vic is wrong again.

Right. Ticket sales are what they are reporting.

If bowls do look at attendance numbers then ticket sold are better to report than butts in the seat. More than likely that bowl will only send representatives to one game and has no clue what the crowd looked like at the other 5 home games. So ticket sales will make you look more appealing to them.

You would have to explain to me how selling 20k tickets and when only 15k show up you report your attendance the next day as 20k makes a difference in any of what Vic stated? I don’t see it. Every school in America records attendance that way.
