If he's going to start one, let him go on Tuesday. Jmo
Unless, with Baranik having a couple tough outings lately, Austin not looking like himself lately, Milhorn having a rough patch, and the way Bazar looked in an extended outing this weekend, they may be stretching him out to possibly be used as a starter in the postseason should the situation present itself???
If he throws 3 innings or so, same as Hicks, he'll be ready for weekend action. There's no difference to him coming in for a couple innings late in the game.

I agree. If it's only 3 innings though, why start him? Let him throw 3 in relief in a role that he's accustomed to and will continue to be in. Also, Hicks will throw Tuesday instead of Wednesday which allows for an extra day of rest, which was my original point of why not start him Tuesday instead of Wednesday if you're going to start him.

Because Bazar will start next year. Doesnt hurt to get a taste
And Hicks starts Tuesday to set the pace/attitude, something the coaches have talked about many times as critical for midweek games.

I'd rather experiment at home rather than on the road.
Re: BB Final G3: Cajuns (2) vs Bobcats (0)
I see both points. As long as Bazar is available for the weekend...

you're saying the tigue had a capacity listed as 7000. or are you saying that 7000 showed up that night?
Re: BB Final G3: Cajuns (2) vs Bobcats (0)
The Tigue has never had a larger official capacity than it does right now which is 3755. It was nice when they had the media guides for all sports on the website, but they only post the football one now.

yea 7000 seemed to be way high. i do know that at the time of the game in questions, it was the most people to watch a college baseball game in the state of Louisiana.

The folks in Ruston, Monroe, and uptown Louisiana know this but they are not ready to admit it publicly. For the average Joe in Louisiana to recognize this we will need to finish the diamond sports strong and do it again next athletic year. Still, nice to hear WWL giving us some recognition.
I agree Mike, If we can finally get all 5 major sports going in the right direction we will be one of the best programs in the South. Mid-major or AQ program will not matter. If we can continue to win 8-10 games in football, 23+ in MBB, above .500 record in WBB, make a regional 4 out of 5 years in baseball and softball just continue to do what it does. This could bbe the "golden era" of Cajun athletics as a whole.

Boulanger expanded capacity significantly with the original bleachers (cheaper bleachers) in the late 80's … and this was obviously before chair backs were in the grandstand (as such capacity was larger in the grandstand back then). For the LSU game in '89 (4-1 loss to McDonald), there were 6236 fans in attendance. We were crammed like sardines. This is when it became obvious that capacity was not quite the 7000 claimed. I remember having a discussion with folks about it in the left field bleachers.
We did get 7583 for the LSU game in '94 … but you had folks in trees behind the outfield wall for that one.
