He doesn't look like a physical player to me. He appears to not be aggressive to block shots or rebound. If you're only going to get to play a few minutes of a game, you could at least do it with a lot of effort.

Stalcup is NOT a quality D1 player.....nope, no way.
I've sat down and watched him exclusively to see what our staff might've saw in him. When he signed two years ago, they said he'd make an immediate impact on the boards and defensively. He looks lost out there. He almost reminds me of Bambi, not really agile on his feet, tends to overthink, which ultimately puts him out of position. He has a C+ baby hook, but his overall offensive game is an F. Sorry but we whiffed on this one.

We might want to give the guy a bit more than the 60 minutes or so of court time he's had so far before we decide he's a bust. I do agree he has a long way to go.

Play by play guy said it. It took a few minutes for our guys to adjust to the ticky-tack officiating. After we adjusted, it was a pretty even game.

Lots of body contact on some of those monster BLOCKS, BLOCKS and missed layups went uncalled.

Why should WE give him more than 60 min when his own coaches who recruited him wont?
