So, what are the odds?
Of UL playing LSU in a bowl game? If ever there was a year this should happen, it is now.

Why would that be? The last time UL held serve like this they got screwed in their bowl game. Will they get screwed again?

Why do you think not playing TSAB is getting screwed?

Don't think it has anything to do with "getting screwed again." It has to do with tsab avoiding any opportunity for LOUISIANA to beat them on the field. I believe they would give up a bowl bid if they HAVE to play US!!! .~..~..~.

Re: So, what are the odds?
None of that. It’s because the sunbelt isn’t tied to and bowls with sec teams or back filling any bowls against sec teams. And if the sunbelt was back filling a bowl against a sec team it would be against a 6-6 sec team not an 8-4 team.

Re: So, what are the odds?
ESPN owns 4 of the 5 bowls the belt is tied to.(nola not espn owned) espn gets first pick of belt teams. Thats why the predictions have espn picking the cajuns to play in the Indy bowl. Then Nola gets second pick and ESPN slots the rest. ESPN will either place us in the Indy bowl or choose another belt team first for another espn owned bowl then Nola would take the Cajuns 2nd.
It’s Indy vs most probably a 6-6 big 12 school
Or Nola vs a cusa school.

Shreveport at 8:15 pm is not good for many reasons.

Re: So, what are the odds?
8:15 Saturday night or 6:00 Thursday night? I can go to Indy bowl(freeze my ass off again) and not miss any work. Nola is two days off of work. Similar out of pocket cost. Big 12 or cusa?
I know my answer

I'm in the same boat as you, so I'm rooting for Shreveport

8:30 in Shreveport vs. Baylor, TCU, TX Tech, Kansas State or Virginia is better than Western KY, or Sam Houston State in NOLA.
NOLA vs. 8-3 Liberty, whom national folks seemed to love, could be fine. However, we're 2-0 against them with the latest a 42-14 win in 2021. Give me one of those Big 12 teams, and let's see how we hold up.

The only positive to playing Liberty would be beating Jamie chadwell

Yep. The concession folks kept the beer in the coolers to keep them from freezing. Ours froze as soon as we set them down to drink them.

Man, that was the most miserably uncomfortable game I've ever been to. Can't imagine sitting through some of those games up north in negative temps. F that
