Alright, let's get this started early. South Carolina has lost 3 of their last 6 including a series loss to unranked Kentucky. Florida State went 2-2 on the week with losses to Florida and Clemson. Virginia dropped a game to Miami. They have one more to play today. Oregon State lost a series to unranked Arizona State. With a 5-0 week and 22-2 record, do we move into the 2 slot? Is it possible we jump Virginia into the top spot in Baseball America?

It was frustrating to watch UVA and Miami last night. After giving up a 2-0 lead, the relief pitcher for Miami looked like he forgot how to play the game. Walks, hit batters, couldn't field his position. Kid looked like a deer in headlights...Quote:

WOW! I thought we had the chance to move up to #1 or #2 in the BA poll…. these guys don't like to be wrong and refuse to acknowledge that CS Fullerton, Virginia and FSU just really aren't as good as they thought...

IDK why Fullerton is in this conversation as they arent above us, but Virginia and FSU are both very good. You dont drop teams like FSU, very far. They had a very tough 4 game road week and went 2-2 or Virginia who havent finished their weekend series yet on the road (and still only have 4 losses).Quote:

That's especially the case when it's their first bump in the road. Both of those teams had good win streaks coming into the weekend. Due to level of competition they play, I think they are afforded a little bit of slack on a weekend before dropping them a good ways.
