Umatilla (Fla.) High School was set to retire Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy's former uniform number -- 6 -- in a pregame ceremony Tuesday before Lucroy's youngest brother, David, made a start.
David Lucroy is a 6-foot-3 senior right-hander who expects to hear his name called in the 2011 First-Year Player Draft, but he also has a commitment to East Carolina University. The Brewers are among the teams that have scouted the younger Lucroy.
