A Case of the Halfs and Half-Nots

Even after anemic shooting in the first half, including almost 15 minutes without a field goal, UL clawed back against Cleveland State to tie it up late.
The Ragin' Cajuns showed drastic improvement offensively in the second half but failed to make the plays needed in the final minutes to complete the rally in a 60-55 loss on Friday night in the Cajundome.

Re: A Case of Half and Half-Not (in reverse order)
It might not be that we can consistently put together two halves like the second one last night, but you know Coach Marlin will usually not have one of the halves be as bad as the first half last night. That said, you just know this team is going to win quite a few games before this is over.
Although it fell short, that second half run last night was fun to watch. (By the way...LaRyan is a helluva leader.)

I am thinking that we won't be completely well until the Dec. 1st game at McNeese. Even if Bureau, Andrews, and Thomas all play at Houston, they won't necessarily have game stamina at that time, they will have limited practice time, and Coach will have to adjust his rotation to bring in the new guys. That does not mean I don't think we have a chance at Houston.

With Marlin at the helm, I feel like we have an excellent chance to beat anyone because of his coaching ability.

That was a hell of a comeback. That was the most fun I've had in the Rage Cage in a long time. People actually cheered.
