Abbeville - Abbeville police officer being investigated by Sheriff's Office

An Abbeville police officer is being investigated by the Vermilion Parish Sheriff Department because the officer allegedly waived a gun at a citizen while he was off duty.
Kodi Perry, who has been with the police department for at least three years, is on administration paid leave while the Sheriff’s Office investigates.
The alleged crime occurred this past Friday in Abbeville. Someone called the police department and accused Perry of pulling out a gun and pointing it at Christopher Turner.
Perry has not been arrested.
