Abbeville police officer named top juvenile officer in state

The Abbeville Police Department can brag they have the top juvenile officer in Louisiana.
Recently, officer Julie Gaspard was awarded the Louisiana Juvenile Award, which was presented to her by the Louisiana Juvenile Association.
Gaspard and three other city policemen went to the convention in north Louisiana, where the award was given. The three officers knew Gaspard was going to win the award, but Gaspard did not. She knew she was nominated.
When her name was called, she was stunned.
