Louisiana's First Baseball Team 1903

Invitations went out to -and were recieved from- neighboring towns, but since baseball reporting seemed to be next to nothing in 1903, game day info is so far unavailable.

The Reds and the Blues played and at the end of the seventh inning, the score stood 6-6, but at the end of the ninth, the score stood 15-11 in favor of the Reds.

Saturday evening the Blues expected to reinstate themselves in the good graces of their supporters, but we are sorry to announce that they were badly beaten by the Reds again that afternoon. The score stood 15-26, and yet the Reds did not play their last inning.
