PENSACOLA, Florida - Career nights from Michael Thomas and Mostapha El Moutaouakkil led the Louisiana men's basketball team to a 73-69 overtime victory over ULM in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Championships on Monday in the Pensacola Bay Center.

Interesting that without their scoring we don’t win and with a number of really interesting plays the two made the game was closer than it should have been. Neither should dribble more than once. And Mo was lucky he didn’t give ball back to ULM near end of game because he didn’t dribble. Crazy game.
