Louisiana Softball had a successful road debut capturing a 5-0 win over Rutgers and 4-1 win over McNeese on Day 1 of the Jane B. Moore Memorial tournament in Auburn, Alabama.
The shutout of Rutgers to start the day marked the first shutout of the season for Louisiana (10-4) and the first road win of Alyson Habetz's tenure.
The McNeese win which followed secured the 1,900th all-time win in program history for the Cajuns
