There are two ways to look at the UL pitching staff two weeks before the 6 p.m. season opener against San Jose State on Feb. 14 at Russo Park.
On the one hand, Ragin’ Cajuns pitching coach Gunner Leger seems to have things under control with a ready-made weekend rotation returning.
On the other hand, no other returning pitcher threw more than 27 innings last season.
