My good friend Justin Mcleod the softball editor at D1 Softball has given his predicted order of finish for the 2025 Softball season. Thoughts?
1. Texas State
2. James Madison
3. Troy
4. Louisiana
5. South Alabama
6. Louisiana-Monroe
7. Coastal Carolina
8. Georgia Southern
9. Marshall
10. Southern Mississippi
11. Appalachian State
12. Georgia State
Just a sign people need to show some patience this year. Coach Habetz inherited a tough situation.
With that said, I do expect league to be wide open this year.

If the SBC is a one bid league, it will be UL. If we finish 4th it will not be a one bid league. That being said, I agree that we may have to win the conference tournament to get in.
I also agree that the conference will be down this year, but I doubt it will be a one bid league.
We will not finish 4th. We need to be competitive in our OOC games and we need to win some those games. I think the league will be a 2 bid leagie.Quote:
