Want softball season tickets?

Only outfield general admission tickets remain. All of the reserved grandstand chairbacks and bleachers are sold out! Geaux Cajuns.

Looking forward to the beginning of the Habetz era.

Is this the first time the Grandstand bleachers are sold out? If so, is it because of Habetz? Or is it because Acadiana likes a Winner? Or is it because Women's Sports are "busting out"? The stadium is 10 years old.

Not sure. Yes because of Habetz. Acadiana loves Cajun Softball. Women's sports and specifically softball has blown up. Stay tuned for soon to be stadium upgrades.

I think maybe your comments are confined to Women's Sports at UL. American Women's basketball, even in the Pro league is really Big, so is LSU Women's Basketball. Here, in Lafayette, Softball is the Queen. Coach Habetz has to continue the winning tradition. Lots of pressure for her.

In September I went to a Womans Volleyball game at the University of Hawaii and there were 5,000 in attendance for a regular season midweek matchup.

Yes, I think it’s Habetz as well. Previous coach came in under unusual circumstances, left for whatever reason and one of the program’s own is stepping up to keep the tradition going.

Yes, that has happened before, but when you listen to Coach Habetz talk about this job and program, can’t help but get behind it.

Absolutely!

Went to the last Fall Ball game and went to the ticket office to check out season ticket availability.

They told me there was only 20 random seats left in the grandstand. Said as soon as Habetz was announced, there was a run on the tickets left in the grandstand. At that time they were contacting season ticket holders in the outfield bleacher seats to see if they wanted one of them.

Guessing they went pretty quick.
