Re: Terrance Carter - UL Tight End GOAT Discussion
Use of TE plays a big factor in this. Ladarius Green was more of a true TE due to his size. I think he could have been utilized more. In today's system, he would be the GOAT without a doubt.

Ladarius Green (4 years): 149 receptions, 2201 yards, 22 TD
Neal Johnson (5 years): 101 receptions, 1196 yards, 11 TD
Terrance Carter (1.5 years): 57 receptions, 720 yards, 7 TD
He's still super young, but to me he is one of the most electric pash catchers i've seen in a while. Week after week it seems he's making huge plays.
Do y'all think he could eventually become the best TE in UL history?
It is possible, Ladarius is still the man until someone takes him down, but TC is well on his way to being in that discussion.
Re: Terrance Carter - UL Tight End GOAT Discussion
Carter has a chance, still early. Green was an outstanding TE. Of course, if Carter keeps performing at a high level there is always the chance a big NIL deal could come calling from a P4.
Re: Terrance Carter - UL Tight End GOAT Discussion
I said this to someone on Saturday, but it will be a miracle to retain TC. He is an immediate mismatch with his size and his speed is deceptive. Unless we step up the NIL game, he’s going to get paid by someone else.

Worried about Bill Davis too, and maybe LL2

Yes, forgot about that.
Re: Terrance Carter - UL Tight End GOAT Discussion
All it takes is a CFP appearance. Consistently being in position to make the CFP can help this program retain and attract players.
Some kids still want to win and see the field.
