Chandler Fields endures setbacks to lead Ragin’ Cajuns into title game
Fields has embraced virtue in full fashion.
A former quarterback at Archbishop Rummel who once threw a slew of passes to Ja’Marr Chase, Fields is third all-time in passing yards in the storied history at Rummel with 3,710 yards.
Fields holds the school record for the most passing yards in a season with 2,359 yards and in touchdown passes with 30 in 2017.

I’ve been a Chandler Fields fan and supporter from the time he threw his first pass. The young man is talented and has great character. To still be at UL and sitting the bench but ready to take the role of #1 QB, when called upon. He has always come in to help and be the threat he’s suppose to be, He is a leader and a fighter. Thank You Chandler for being a Cajun and sticking with us. Best of luck in your future endeavors

We've had some great young men come through Ragin' Cajuns Athletics over my years here.
There may be some as good as Chandler. But I guarantee you there's never been one better.

Agreed. This guy has gotten what the cULture is from day one, and has exemplified it. The past two and a half games are proof of it on the field, but he's never failed to show it, day in and day out. Loved his shoutout to Robe!

Worked with some of his family when he committed to UL. CF is everything they said he is and more.
