UL wins Award in the Rocket Cup in First Showing
Congratulations to the College of Engineering's rocket team on a stellar first showing at the Spaceport Rocket Cup, the world's largest intercollegiate rocket engineering conference in New Mexico! The team of mechanical engineering students brought home the James Barrowman Award for Flight Dynamics (predicted altitude of 10,150 feet vs. actual of 10,148 feet), besting 122 other universities representing 30 countries.
