For those that thought the opener would move along like a herd of turtles and be 21-19’ish, it is postseason baseball and anything can and does happen.
McEvoy, the senior Georgia State lefty, has done a good job of keeping the Coastal hitters off balance. This is his first start of the season. Eikhoff has also been strong for Coastal. Lefty Bryce Shaffer has been warming in the pen for a while now, so Eikhoff is likely close to being done.

I just figure seasons on the line, pitcher was at 91 pitches and had only thrown 50 last Thursday maybe go one more. But I know he’s been a reliever for them and 50 is about his upper limit most of his games the season. Maybe he hit a wallQuote:
