“It was only one school that kept in contact and that was coach Bob Marlin and coach Rudy Zimmerman at UL,” Evans said. “I just love that because they showed they wanted me here and they believe in things I can bring to the program. And another thing that stood out to me was the great food down there in Lafayette -- the people, the love. It’s just real all over.”
