The Cajuns must win to get to 6-6 and bowl eligibility. Yes, there will likely be a few 5-7 teams that get bowl invitations, but UL won’t be in that number. UL’s APR ranking is currently 109 entering the week.
The top candidates to potentially get in at 5-7 are Minnesota (5-6, tied No. 8 APR), Wake Forest (4-7, tied No. 8), Rice (5-6, No. 15) and Mississippi State (5-6, No. 19).
