Conference comparison ...
After Week 2 ...
1) Sun Belt
Highlights: Sun Belt has been the unquestioned leader, tied for most P5 wins and by far the best FBS win % in the G5
*8-10 against FBS competition (best of the G5)
*2 P5 wins (tied for most in G5, better P5 win % than the AAc or MWC)
*Most remaining unbeaten teams remaining with 5 (JMU, Marshall, Georgia State, Georgia Southern and ULM)
2) MWC
Highlights: Poor results amongst the FBS, but one more P5 win pushes them slightly over the AAC
*4-12 against FBS competition (fourth best in the G5)
*2-12 against the P5 (tied for most in G5, but with double the appearances than the Sun Belt)
*3 remaining unbeaten teams (Fresno State, Wyoming and Air Force)
3) AAC
Highlights: Holds a 3-2 advantage over the Sun Belt, but have performed below measure in every single other facet
*6-15 against FBS competition (third best in the G5)
*1-10 against the P5 (tied with CUSA, LOL)
*1 remaining unbeaten team (Memphis, less than CUSA LOL)
4) CUSA
Highlights: Performing much better than expected, they lack wins against the P5 to put them higher on the list
*6-11 against FBS competition (second best in the G5)
*0 wins against P% (0-5)
*2 remaining unbeaten teams (Liberty and WKU)
5) MAC
Highlights: Their one lone P5 win was by a team who lost the following week to an FCS...about as MAC as you can get right there
*3-13 against FBS (Last in the G5)
*1-10 against the P5
*Zero remaining unbeaten teams
Not my work. This is from a Marshall fan on the Belt Board.
Last year was not a mirage. We are the best G5 conference in the country. We need to do our part this weekend.
Re: Conference comparison ...
We do need to do our part. Saw that we were a one point road dog vs Blazzers
Re: Conference comparison ...
I believe the SBC has three matchups this week against the AAC.
Southern Miss. vs Tulane
App. vs ECU
UAB vs Louisiana
Let’s take all 3!

Re: Conference comparison ...
Beyond solid, I'd say.
That was championship caliber football I watched on Saturday in a packed stadium. Obviously, from the president of that university on down to the athletics department, they're damn sure enhancing Tulane's reputation in ways that the physics department will never do. That's called the front porch of your university, Dr. Savoie. Take note.

I was at this game:
Over 50% were Ole Miss Fans and not completely sold out.
Like UL under CBN, the Tulane Fans are letting this top 25 team down.
NEVERTHELESS, (and I am NOT in any way a Tulane fan and was actually rooting for Ole Miss) this is a GOOD team that played Ole Miss toe to toe all game.
Re: Conference comparison ...
Yeah. Yulman holds like 23k ish. So even if it was sold out and all tulane fans, still not amazing.
