SAN MARCOS, Tx. – The Louisiana track and field team ended their Texas trip with a bang, winning three events and challenging some program records on the final day of the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos, Texas.
Way to Geaux ... out.
T&F crushing it so far this spring
Good to see the Track & Field program having what appears to be a resurgence. It's been tough sledding since about 1997/1998, at least team-wise.
Some good highlights mixed in the past 25 years...Men's SBC Outdoor Runner-UPs in '02 and Men's SBC Cross Country Champs in '04. Hopefully we'll see some really good consistently good team results.
They've definitely been making a mark thus far this Outdoor season.
Makes me want to attend a meet.
For anything nearby, they have meets at NW State and LSU left on the schedule. Louisiana Classics was a couple weeks ago, and Outdoor SBC Championships are at Coastal this season.Quote:
