LOUISIANA – In their first meet of the outdoor season, the Louisiana track and field team won 17 events on the second day of the Louisiana Classics. No win was bigger than the men's 4x100 which clocked in with the fastest outdoor time this spring in the entire NCAA at 40.07 seconds.

It’s early in the season and it was very cold. But 40.07 is a pretty good start. They just need to find a way to drop 1.5 seconds off that time before the championships.
