It feels like soccer has taken a step back with this coaching staff. He doesn’t meet any of Dr. Maggard’s requirements for head coach. Hopefully, he can be a “relentless recruiter” because this program will need it to be successful.

Finished tied for 5th in SBC West with Uhlm. We have tie breaker.

Can’t say we’ve never taken a step forward since we’ve NEVER have been in the regular season championship hunt or tournament finals.

Program went from never making it past the first round of the tournament to two semi final appearances in 2019 & 2020 to not making the tournament this year…

Sad to see the decline of fall sports in UL, besides maybe volleyball

So being mediocre is success?

WSOC is just like WBB. Have to have the teams and few care. Maybe WSOC can make a single NCAA appearance quicker than WBB did.

Was really hoping WSOC would do well this year. Got a fellow Scotsman at the helm. But missing an SBC tournament in any sport is unacceptable. Hoping for better in the future.

It was progress in the short time. Went from not making the tournament to back to back tournament appearances and two tournament wins. More than what was done in 20+ years from my research. Hopefully new staff can turn it around after a dismal year.

I have zero confidence in the staff, as well as the golf coaches.

State showed us how not to play though. Classy. But then again, the best fight I have knowledge of on the pitch was girls. Never pick a fight with a boxer's sister.
