he's young and it looks like all he has done in his career is college sports marketing, which is perfect for this job. Marketing has evolved with the movement of socal media and that is where marketing and communications has gone, the other side is less important now and is the easier side of the industry now

Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Bryan Maggard announced on Monday the appointment of Evan Roberts as Associate Director of Athletics for Communications and Digital Strategy.

Roberts, who began his role with Ragin' Cajuns Athletics on Oct. 3, spent the past seven years as an Assistant Athletics Communications Director at Texas A&M, joining the program in January of 2016. In his role at Louisiana, Roberts will serve as the chief communications officer for the department while working the Senior Leadership team and overseeing publicity for the Ragin' Cajuns football team, Broadcast Services, Coaches' Video and will have Sport Administration duties
