Jay Walker stated this morning that Marlin should brought back next year. I remember him stating a few years back about another coach on the hot seat, stating the fans in the seats or lack of them has spoken. I wonder why he feels different this time?

You would need a 50 ton winch to pull Jay's head out of Marlins ass

Caught some of the conversation with Scott.
Sounded like Jay brought up the caliber of the young men Marlin has been bringing in.
Also, the relationship between the current roster and Marlin seems pretty intimate.
Marlin stays, the roster remains the same with some minor departures.
Marlin leaves, there very well could be a mass exodus and the end result is a massive rebuild.

Didn't this roster have a losing record though.

Yes and No.
Cajuns finished the regular season 13-14, so yes.
Cajuns finished the overall season 16-15, so no.

Cajuns finished the season vs D1 opponents 14-15, so yes.
So it depends on what criteria you are looking at.

I'm not sure what the ruling is on non-D1 games.

That is a very talented core.... Hopefully they all do come back and add some pieces. This team was missing Mylik Wilson and Cedrick Russell type guard play this season
Perimeter shooting is needed in the worst way

I was really impressed with the way Dalcourt and Williams played down the stretch.
