After last competing on the course in October, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Golf team officially opens the spring portion of its 2021-22 schedule on Monday when it begins play at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate at Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course.

Freshman Eli Ortego carded a pair of eagles to finish three shots off the individual lead, but the second round of the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate was suspended due to darkness on Monday at Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course.
