Breaking news, Arkansas projected Friday night starter, Peyton Pallette it was announced will miss the entire 2022 season with a UCL injury that will require TJ surgery.

Pallette was 1-2 with a 4.02 ERA last year pitching in 15 games with 11 starts and 1 save in 56 innings pitched. Striking out 67 while walking 23.

This is a huge loss for a team that projected to start the season as the #2 team in the country. They will still be good, but this is a huge loss.

The Cajuns are scheduled to play Arkansas on Sunday February 27th at the Karbach Round Rock Classic which also involves UL, Stanford and Indiana.

It will be interesting to see how Arkansas reshuffles their pitching staff.
