Josh Cofield, Cajuns respond from bad early inning for comeback win over McNeese
Considering what the UL Ragin’ Cajuns had just endured in getting swept at South Alabama this past weekend, Wednesday’s 4-3 win over McNeese State couldn’t have started out any worse.

Cofi got some clutch knocks, but he also made two costly errors.
We’ve got a long way to go on defense. Hard to watch.

We are flat out a really bad defensive baseball team. We are lucky that the pitching is relatively good and that our hitting has improved. If that was not the case this team could easily have less than 10 wins.

If he had left Fitz at 1B and Dh’d Cofield last night this might have been a 4 0 game.

Fitz is batting over .400 at DH and around .240 at first base.

That didn’t seem to help him much last night 0 4 with 2 SO.

Yeah, keep going with the small sample size.

I suspect he DH’d in only about 10 or so games and had a couple monster games - like 3 or 4 hit games against the weaker part of our schedule which would skew the numbers. It is what it is, however.
