Wanted Woman Accused in Early Morning Stabbing

On March 17, 2010, at approximately 8:00 am, officers with the Lafayette Police Department responded to the 800 block of Patterson regarding a disTurbinece. The victim, a 53 year old male, was involved in a disTurbinece with a female suspect. The female suspect produced a knife and attempted to stab the victim in the abdomen. During the struggle, the victim received a large laceration to the facial area. The victim was transported to an area hospital and treated. The suspect fled the area.
The suspect is believed to be a light skinned female with long hair. The photo depicts the suspect in the green top at an area convenience store.
