UL to focus on improvements against 47-point underdog Texas Southern
The Cajuns are happy, but not satisfied following Saturday’s 35-14 win over Liberty in the team’s home opener. The win evened UL’s record at 1-1 as the Cajuns get set to host FCS and SWAC member Texas Southern on Saturday at Cajun Field.
Coach Billy Napier’s ball club produced nearly 600 yards in total offense, ran for 407 yards as a team, threw two passing touchdowns, limited Liberty to just 2-11 on third-down conversions and just 14 points, yet coach is using this week to focus on what needs to be corrected.
