This is the biggest game for our program since Hud’s LaNech catastrophe. Let me qualify that.

Cajuns weren’t supposed to compete this year.

You find a way to win today, it restores hope in the fanbase, competitive edge for the team, excitement going Spears from donors, puts the SBC on notice (especially after the gritty performance at App St last week), and puts you squarely in contention for a league championship. Also shows recruits that the pitch isn’t bull____; Napier really is going to do something big here.
