Ellyson Ks 20 as UL pitching rules sweep

Supposedly the biggest question for the No. 22-ranked UL Ragin’ Cajuns entering the 2018 softball season was the pitching.

Somebody forgot to tell Summer Ellyson and Kylee Jo Trahan.

Had to work, but everyone that was with me kept asking, “How many strikeouts now?” It was awesome to watch, exciting! I certainly understand she and no one can do this all the time and maybe never again, but sure builds some hope for Summer! I am hopeful that Kylie Jo and Summer and teammates develop to become strong pitchers their team can count on game after game!

Kylee Jo, Summer, and Dixon are going to carry us far. We need one more to really have a special run.

In NCAA play, for us to win, we need as many different looks as possible. We get killed once the best teams have seen a pitcher once or twice, which is why we can't get out of a Super Regional.

Can we find one more?

Boswell looked pretty good in the innings she pitched, and throws hard.

Yeah. I'm thrown off by listening to Stevie P at 9 in the morning from a little league park, calling Dixon Boswell for 2 innings, then being like, oh, I should've known because Dixon wears the mask. LOL

So now I have in my mind that Boswell got lit up and Dixon was stellar. LOL

I think both can help us and we may very well be 5 deep in time. Especially if you're only talking about once around the order.
