Softball-Louisiana vs. Coastal: Game 3

Baseball hasn't made anyone happy thus far this weekend, but the girls are kicking butt.

Cajuns up 5-0 in the 3rd and are looking to sweep. Again.

7-0 now after 4 innings

7-0 to the 5th.

Another run rule victory. This team is destroying people.

I know the polls are for fans, but this team deserves more love. There are a few teams stacked up with similar records that are ahead of them, but it's hard to believe that there are 15 teams better than they are. They are just too good offensively.

No doubt but some of the weakest pitching we have had in years. Still better than many teams across the country but not the dominant one two punch we have had for decades.

Dominant, no. But still one of the better tandems around, imo. I am still deathly afraid of the illegal pitch calls coming up in the postseason. We'll have to win with our bats in the NCAA regionals and supers.

Check the NCAA pitching stats and you might change your mind. Our offensive production will need to keep up if we intend on making a deep run.
