From top to bottom I think this will go down as a very solid bunch of players, I think the coaches did a great job this year filling the few holes we have on the field next season.
Amari Williams at FB will be a force for four years.
Bernard Smith at OLB or DE will be a pass rushing freak.
Benay Pryer at DL or DE will be unblockable in the Belt.
But the player I'm most excited to see strap it up is Le'Marcus Gibson at S...this dude plays with reckless abandonment and he has some swagger which I think this defense needs!!!
August / September can’t get here soon enough.

I agree that this is a very solid class and I think the best class Bustle has signed while here. The three running backs have gotten most of the publicity and praise, but your list is a pretty good one.
I also think the Quave kid should be high on any "top signee" list we put together.

I find it very interesting how many players seem to really want to be here. You see them using words like "chemistry", "family", "atmosphere". Even Robert Walker says "its clear that this program has a goal, and I want to be apart of that". One of the Notre Dame kids even went as far as saying "it was my DREAM to play here".
We've got to keep bringing our youngsters to UL games. Its easy to fall in love with this place, and we need to bring them up in the way of vermillion & white!

Can't agree more about Gibson. He's a guy that I will be watching very closely. He has true SS size and he hits you hard. You can tell he is jacked up to be here if you saw him last night as he looked like he wanted to strap it up already.
I like what Amari brings but in our system, we haven't used the FB much since the days of running the triple option with Booker Jenkins. I hope we can incorporate him more as he seems way more athletic than recent FB's.
Pryer will be a load physically but I'm just hoping he develops technique wise because he is raw and I wonder how soon he will make an impact.
Smith will likely play DE even though I'd love to see him at LB. I just think he'll be the best pass rusher we have and this staff likes smaller, faster rush ends. In JUCO, he rushed a lot through the gaps using his speed. I don't think he'll be able to do that at this level and I hope he has the technique to get around the tackle at this level.

Robert Walker will be and already is my favorite player. This kid truly wants to be here. He had to grayshirt last year and trained like a mad man to get stronger and bigger while working on his academics. You'd see him at basketball games and other sporting events and that just shows me that he loves this place even though he could have gone elsewhere had he chosen to.
