With no Christian Ringo and no Justin Hamilton up front, it’s all about others getting an opportunity to shine up front in 2015 and beyond.
I have a feeling Briscoe will be a big part of our success or failure on defense. Last year he was woefully out of shape. I still believe this is the weakest part of our team. Let's hope he is more committed this year.
We've had better defenses with much worse DLs in recent history. IMO, the DL being "good" is icing on the cake. If they can be serviceable (which they should be with 6 guys being involved), our defense will be fine.
We have had 3-4 good defenses in the past 25 years. Line play has usually been a sore spot. I know we have recruited well on the DL but none are proven commodities like Ringo and Hamilton. Will really be interested to see this group play.
We had 2 of the best DL this school has seen the last 4 years and arguable some of the worst defenses... So apparently they aren't as make or break as everyone thinks... There is 11 guys out there... It takes them allQuote:

I've been watching some video of last years games and I think Taboris Lee has a chance to be better than both. He's lightning quick off the snap!

If he gets in condition, he will be able to play more than a few snaps a series. But he is important, especially in the good line defense.Quote:
